From CAD plan to own piece of furniture - a look behind the scenes.

During her internship at Glaeser AG, Sereina drew up detailed studies and work plans. She gained more confidence with each new project. Working with a CAD program that was previously unknown to her was particularly exciting - a great addition to her existing know-how.

Sereina then spent two weeks at the apprentice academy in the company's own joinery workshop, where she was able to independently produce the stool she had designed herself. Here she learned how to use various machines and tools and gained a practical insight into the implementation of the planning work. This combination of planning and practice not only taught our trainee new skills, but also significantly expanded her understanding of the processes from design to execution. It was fascinating to see the influence that the work in the office has on the implementation in the workshop and how important it is for everyone involved to work together.
